Technology is only useful in the context of the business it serves. Rarely are technology consulting services delivered to ensure alignment. Gone are the days of technology people who do not understand the business. Alignment is not about concepts it is about people and communication.

In the past thirty years, we have tried to "automate processes" using computers and have continually been reminded that computers don't run organizations; people run organizations. Alignment transforms the people, processes and technology of a business so that technology investments have a longer business impact.
